Forte Insurance’s new MediCritical Worldwide plan provides policyholders’ access to the best medical care and treatment worldwide
Phnom Penh, September 9, 2019: Leading insurer Forte Insurance (Cambodia) PLC today unveiled a product that helps individuals diagnosed with critical medical conditions receive the best treatment and care possible, anywhere in the world.
Forte’s MediCritical Worldwide looks to connect newly-diagnosed individuals with the world’s top medical experts and institutions. The policy also covers all relevant costs, medical or otherwise, so that the policyholder can focus on becoming better.
Introduced after extensive market research, MediCritical Worldwide covers policyholders suffering from medical conditions that include cancer and other critical illness such as heart valve replacement or repair, bypass surgery and bone marrow or organ transplants and neurosurgery.
The policy covers total expenses of up to $1,000,000 annually and up to $2,000,000 during the policyholder’s lifetime. Benefits for those requiring treatment overseas include full coverage for accommodation and travel expenses as well as repatriation expenses, medication and daily cash benefits. This comprehensive protection only comes to as little as 30 cents per day.
“We know how difficult it is to not only come to terms with a critical illness, but also the uncertainties that come with it, for instance, ‘Am I getting the right diagnosis? ‘Am I getting the best care and treatment possible?’” said Forte CEO Charles Cheo. “MediCritical Worldwide places all these doubts to rest by giving the policyholder access to the best doctors and treatment available worldwide.”
For individuals who opt to receive treatment at leading international medical institutions, Forte’s commitment extends from helping the policyholder select top-rated specialists, hospitals and medical teams to preparing and arranging all flight details, hospital paperwork, medical appointments and hotel reservations.
“Our services also encompass post-medical care, because we act as the link between the patient, the treating physician and the international specialist once the patient is back home,” said Cheo. “In a nutshell, MediCritical Worldwide takes care of all the necessary expenses, arrangements and other pertinent details to allow the policyholder to solely focus on recovering his or her health.”
MediCritical Worldwide is yet another timely offering from the Kingdom’s leading, largest insurer. Forte, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, also received its full life insurance license in February, resulting in the establishment of Forte Life.
