Forte Insurance (Cambodia) launches FIG TREE Blue, its international health plan with medical evacuation by International SOS in a heap of activities throughout the month of February. It started with ads in prominent newspapers, leading to two ‘road shows’ on 5 and 12 February 2006, the first of its kind by an insurance company in Cambodia. The main intention was to build awareness of health insurance and other insurance products to the local market. The ‘road shows’ were located in front of Lucky Supermarket on Phnom Penh’s Sihanouk Boulevard and Pencil Supermarket at Street 214. More than 4,000 people were provided with FIG TREE Blue leaflets stating benefits in both English and Khmer language. It was indeed an ‘eye-opener’ for many residents in Phnom Penh during the two-day event with Forte staff providing advice and giving out freebies to the public. It is a FIG TREE Blue for everyone, explains Samuel Lim, Director of Business and Marketing who also reiterates that it is the only international plan offered in Cambodia to the local Khmers. FIG TREE Blue also sponsors a radio-show on the country’s only English radio station, Love FM 98.7 on Sundays from 3pm to 5pm for the whole month of February. A forum of health insurance will also be done on 23 February on Business Edge, a programme for SMEs in Cambodia and sponsored by Forte. The insurance company also provides a two-minute insurance advisory tip on the show which stretches from September last year to June this year. reported by Forte Insurance (Cambodia) .Plc
